Romance novels have played a huge part of my life, starting with the first  one I ever read. At sixteen, I picked up a copy of A Walk with Love and Death by Hans Koningsberger from the local Goodwill. I had no idea what I was buying at the time, only that it called to me. After that I never looked back. I fell in love with Jane Eyre, Rebecca, Wuthering Heights, then every Jane Austen novel. And I also fell in love with the notion of taking one look into another’s eyes and recognizing a soul mate, a realization of having known one another before.

After earning my degree in education from the University of South Carolina, I became a teacher. Shortly after, my first child was born and I decided to devote my time to him. Later my second child came into the world, and since then one of my life’s greatest pleasures has been homeschooling.

Even though I decided I wanted to be a writer when I was fifteen years old in the tenth grade, I wrote my first romance novel when I was thirty-five, that is of course  after spending those twenty years interim reading.

In these pages you will find the books that I have written for myself. My goal in writing fiction is always to write books that I would enjoy reading. As a result of putting these stories together, I have found enormous personal growth and healing. It is my sincerest hope that readers will take away something that touches their lives as well.

My love of animals led me to animal communication. Inside my books, I include animals and animal communication because I believe that life without the mystical is boring!😄
